thisisme

It's 2009. After a week or so of pleasant weather, today it was a cold, cold rain. Why talk about the weather? I think we're all a product of our environment, and that where we are, and where we put ourselves is what makes us. Today was a cold, cold rain.  I didn't just feel it the form of cold hands and a chill wind going through the hole in my jeans. The mind is a funny thing, or rather the minds connection of things seemingly unrelated. I'll keep telling myself it's almost March. Time flies faster and faster before I know it we'll be in June and I won't have any worries... hopefully.

Can you(the 3 people reading this) believe that this is my first post in my blog this year? People who know me know I spend all of my time connected but not often do I get the time to just sit and write in a long proper form. Pages here and there, but that's ink. My thoughts in my pages are more of an outburst of emotion(isn't that what music is?) than rational, fully functional thought. I'm going to try to post at least 3 or 4 times a week. Or at least once a week... I should set a a day. Today's wednesday... so, let that be it.

My last was post was just after Barack Obama was elected president. Now he's been inaugurated, and his stimulus package is rollin' along. (Makes me think of the Sam Cooke song "Ol' Man River"... he just keeps rolling along)Hard to keep up with the entire universe of information that is the internet.  I wonder what new incidences/events people of my generation are seeing due to the economies collapse? People worrying that NYC will go back to the city of the 70's. I doubt it.

No doubt that shit is definitely spewing from the fan, but from what I've seen, there are too many intelligent young Americans to let it fall entirely from grace.

hope all is well with everything & everyone in your world

love&peace
